How to upgrade the Samsung SL-M2070F / 2074F / 2078F / 2070FW / 2074FW / 2078FW?
I cannot update the printers firmware using windows 10. Following the instructions in the readme file I extract the M2070V3.00.01.30.hd file drop it onto the usblist2.exe file. A DOS window appears with a number counting upwards, it reaches the target number then disappears. The printer doesn't reb. I feel your pain: after upgrading my firmware on a perfectly fine Samsung model years ago, I suddenly lost my cyan toner that was a third party. Managed to get an old firmware version on the phone with tech support, claiming that the toner levels were invalid.
We need a programmer - such as this – the panel adapter for sop8 150mil for 24c eprom (link) and the panel adapter for sop8 200mil for flash memory 25q (link)

My current version from AUG 24 - 2015 and is v3.00.01.10 and seems way out of date but i cannot find any links to firmware on this support website. Thanks in advance. M2020w seems to be model.

The all process of upgrading the firmware is that we need to remove the plate, unsolder the flash memory and eprom, fill into them the firmware by using the programmer firmware and solder the chip back into the printer
